Crafting the best landing page for your business isn’t easy. There are so many things to keep in mind and fuse together for an awesome experience. So how can you demystify this process and create a highly efficient landing page? I talked to Alan Refaeli the President of Deliver It Media and here are some tips that I found out. Have A Killer Headline No doubt but the headline is where everything begins from. If your headline is clickable you will trigger awesome interest from your potential clients, reduce on your bounce rates, promote your conversion rates, and grab your clients’ attention from afar. For you to come up with a killer line for your headline, keep it short and to the point, use powerful and persuasive words, ensure your headline informs the reader on what your page is all about. Persuasive Subheadline I love how Alan Refaeli puts it. He says, “If your headline triggers your user’s interest then your sub-headline should make them stay.” Awesome! Simply put, if your headline is catchy then the sub-headline should strive to enhance that winning mentality and keep your user engrossed to the page. On a great landing page the sub-headline should be placed right under the main headline in a smaller but visible font, it should explain what the page is about or shed more light on the head. Get Call To Action Plan Another great element of a landing page that helps to strengthen the position of the headline and the sub-headline is the Call-To-Action (CTA). The CTA doesn’t beat about the bush. It’ll simply tell your clients what you want them to do and trigger them to act. For instance, if you want them to buy and get discounts your CTA could read something like “Buy Today and Enjoy Discounted Prices.” A CTA can be put at the top, middle, and bottom part of the landing page. Use Big Pictures / Images It said the brain processes images X60 000 faster than a normal text. Meaning that if you were to use images on your landing page, it could trigger actions faster from your clients than using text. However ensure that the pictures are pretty relevant to your product and services, it should grab your attention faster, and it should be of high quality. Ensure the picture is that of your products or one that only works to grab your client’s attention if you are dealing with services alone. Give A Quick Explanation Alan Refaeli the President of Deliver It Media also points out that sometimes your clients might not understand what products or services you deal with. If such a scenario happens Alan advices you to provide a explanation to your potential client before you lose them. He says explanations should be straightforward, direct, and possibly integrated with the sub-headline. It should offer benefits and strive to lead your clients to either seek more details or go for straight up buys. Create Highly Logical Flow You want your landing page to manifest a high sense of organization and a great element of flow apart from triggering sales. This is often a great idea intended to win your serious clients over as they will highly engrossed finding the catch in your offers and landing page alike. To gain such a flow, you could start with a self explanatory headline and sub-headline, follow up with benefits, include your clients’ testimonials, and finally wrap it up with an awesome CTA. There are so many tips that could leave you with an exceptional landing page. They include fab offers, trustworthy testimonials, right contacts, and an awesome guarantee.
